 ¡Si, Se Puede!, Inc. was originally conceived as a as a beacon of hope and response to the pressing needs of families residing in the Merrimack Courts and surrounding lower Tower Hill neighborhood of Lawrence, MA. The organization began as a grassroots outreach effort, driven by a passionate group of community members dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those they served. 


Over time, ¡Si, Se Puede! evolved into a dynamic center for educational and social opportunities, recognized for its transformative impact on the lives of countless individuals. Through innovative programming, collaborative partnerships, and a steadfast dedication to its mission, the organization became a trusted resource and a symbol of resilience and empowerment within the Lawrence community.

Our Team

Si, Se Puede! Inc. is fueled by a dedicated team consisting of volunteers and paid administrative and teaching staff, reflecting the cultural diversity of the city and embodying unwavering commitment to the organization's mission and the local community. Co-founded by Peg Duddy, the legacy of Si, Se Puede is now entrusted to devoted leaders.


Jaqueline De la Cruz

Jacqueline De La Cruz is deeply committed to empowering young people to realize their full potential. With over a decade of experience in youth development, she has witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of programs on children's lives. From providing access to education and mentorship to fostering a sense of community and belonging, our organization is dedicated to creating a brighter future for all young people. Jacqueline is particularly passionate about cultivating strong relationships with youth, families, and community partners. Her unwavering commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space has not only earned her recognition but has also been instrumental in the organization's success. In her downtime, Jacqueline enjoys traveling and immersing herself in different cultures, all while cherishing moments with her family.
